‘Think like your customer’

“A powerful statement and reminder of what’s really important in any business – The customer.”

We all need to understand our customers business, their goals and their challenges, and then doing everything possible to help them succeed. Caterpillar Group Presidents talk about creating value, serving customers and why “thinking like your customer” is so critical to future growth for Caterpillar and its customers. Despite being a 2010 video its every bit as relevant now as it was then.

Critical Points:

  • You start with the customer and you deliver more value then anyone else…
  • Are you critically important to your customer’s success?
  • It’s all about creating VALUE
  • Are you 100% committed to your customer?
  • The day of the sale is the start of a long term commitment

Marketing Plan – Sample Table of Contents

A marketing plan is a structured business document which identifies the current market position of a business and its marketing strategy for the period covered by the marketing plan, generally somewhere from one to five years.

The purpose of a marketing plan is to clearly show what steps or actions will be taken to achieve the plan goals. For example, a marketing plan might have a strategy to open new international markets to gain 10% revenue within three years. It would then outline the activities and goals to be achieved in order to reach the target 10% revenue increase within the three year period.

We can produce a comprehensive, relevant and professional Marketing Plan to help meet your business growth strategy, so do get in touch when you’ve read the outline to arrange the first conversation.
