Many businesses only use their own staff to sell their products and services and this works fine for them. However, there are others who use third parties to help grow sales and in doing so benefit both the company and channel partner.
Think of sales channel partners as part of the team. Perhaps helping to reach geographical areas where you don’t or can’t cover directly. Or maybe its to a specific market vertical e.g., a software company selling directly to Government and Enterprise clients and using partners to sell to SMEs.
